After completing fly pasts over Denmark, the BBMF Lancaster will land at Billund Airport at 15:25 on the 5th May 2011. The air craft will spend the night on the parking apron.

On the morning of the 6th May 2011 the Lancaster will be towed to the Cimber Sterling hangar - the Danish home guard + airport security will secure the area. The BBMF Lancaster will be on display to the public from 09:00 – 10:00 on 6th May 2011 in the Cimber Sterling Hangar at the Billund Airport.

Members of the public will be able to get right up to the aircraft, although no access will be permitted to the interior.  The crew will also be onsite to pose for photos and answer questions.

General public car parking is available as shown on the map below, there will be shuttle buses running from the car park to the Cimber Sterling hangar (or about 10 minutes walk). Stratusvej road to the hangar will be closed to public cars.  The gate will open at 09:00 and the Lancaster can be viewed until 10:00.  Then the crew will prepare the Lancaster for flight, the Lancaster will take off later that morning.
