The relatives of EE138 Crew members would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank the following for their generous contributions to the commemoration day:

The Hon. Alan Griffin MP, Former Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, the former Ambassador of Australia to Denmark Ms Sharyn Minahan and staff of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs Office of Australian War Graves

The Mayor Mr. Nørregaard and the Ringkøbing-Skjern Kommune.

Special thanks must go to the Danish EE138 Commemoration Working Group - Mr Ole Kamp, Mr Niels Ballebye, Mrs Birthe Jensen, Ms Grete Møllerhøj, Mr Bent Anthonisen, Mr Søren Flensted, Mr Erik Poulsen and J Eilschou Holm.

Our sincerere appreciation to the Master of Ceremonies on the day Mr Søren Flensted, who managed the bilingual nature of the ceremony with great care and precision ensuring that all who attended the commemoration understood each element of the program.

Kind thanks must be extended to Else Jeppesen who prepared the very fine coffee and cakes for the after ceremony function - assisted by Helle Ringgaard. This function was sponsored by the Ringkøbing-Skjern Kommune and Ambassador Minahan.

Our sincere thanks also to the Ladies Choir of Stadil for their excellent performance on the day.

The Ringkøbing Landbobank generously and thoughtfully provided umbrellas and seating for the comfort of those attending the commemoration service.

Vestas Nacelles A/S, Ringkøbing

In June 2008 the Vestas Nacelles A/S company in Ringkobing through the services of their Machining Division have undertaken to construct the stand to hold the plaques and cross. Vestas intend to undertake the task as a project of local interest involving their apprentices. This much appreciated support is very meaningful and symbolic to the Australian EE138 Memorial Restoration Group - as the family members that we lost were also young men.

Qantas Airfreight Services

We would also like to recognise the support given by Qantas Air Freight Services in assisting us to transport the Plaques to Europe. The care and professionalism by Qantas staff in Sydney and Melbourne was very much appreciated.

The Royal Australian Air force —Wing Commander John Ibbotson
The Royal Air Force—Wing Commander Dick MacCormac and Sergeant Mark Frisby
The Royal Danish Air Force
Mr Erik Jepsen - landowner of the EE138 crash site.
We also thank the many Danish citizens of Stadil and Ringkøbing who have assisted with the 65th Commemoration.
